McDonald's worker who help Cristiano Ronaldo

Frightened teenager, says McDonald employee who gave 12-years-old Ronaldo free burger

Sept 20/2019

A married mum-of-two has come forward as one of the McDonald's workers who gave Cristiano Ronaldo free burgers when he used to beg for food as a child.

The Juventus superstar launched an appeal to find the mystery employees - including one called Edna during an ITV interview with Piers Morgan.

And after days of searching, Paula Leca came forward to say she was one of the three women, and would happily accept a dinner invite from the star footballer.

She told Portuguese radio station Renascenca: “They would appear in front of the restaurant and when there were hamburgers left over our manager would give us permission to hand them over.

“One of the boys was Cristiano Ronaldo who was perhaps the most timid of them all.

“This happened almost every night each week.

“I still laugh about it all now. I had already told my son about it but he thought it was a fib because he couldn't imagine his mum ever giving Ronaldo a hamburger.

“My husband already knew about it, because sometimes he would go to pick me up from work at night and he also saw him.

“It's funny to go back now to something that happened so long ago. It shows his humility. At least now people know this wasn't an invention.

“If he invited me out for dinner, I'd go for sure.

"The first thing I'd do would be to say thank you and during the meal we would have time to remember those times."

Liverpool Mohammed salah gets a new name

EPL: Mohamed Salah gets new name

Former Basel manager, Heiko Vogel has described Liverpool star, Mohamed Salah, as a “gentle-killer”.
Vogel coached the Egyptian international during their time together at Basel between 2011 to 2012.
Salah has won the Premier League’s Golden Boot two years in a row since joining Liverpool in 2017.
“Momo is a gentle killer,” Vogel told Goal.
“He had everything – the speed, the finish, and the left foot – and that wasn’t overlooked.
“Still, I would be lying if I said had prophesied such a massive global career for him.
“If you knew him… he is not a world star, he has such a gentle character. It was always clear to me that he is an outstanding player, but whether he had the mentality? I didn’t know

Real Madrid are prepared to offer €100million plus three players to sign top target Neymar, according to reports.
Zinedine Zidane's Los Blancos have been busy in this summer's transfer window, but have not given up hope of signing the former Barcelona forward
According to French publication L'Equipe, Paris Saint-Germain have already rejected an offer of €100million plus Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez and Keylor Navas.
Sources from Madrid have poured cooled water on these claims, according to Guillem Balague, stating the offer is inaccurate.
Bale is set to stay put at the Bernabeu despite his grievances as he is keen to prove Zidane wrong once and for all.
Real Madrid are prepared to offer James, Navas and another first team player plus money for Neymar but are so far yet to do so.
Balague claims that this third player is none other than Luka Jovic, who Real Madrid spent £62million on to sign just a few weeks ago
Jovic has struggled to hit the ground running in the Spanish capital after a difficult pre-season.
The former Eintracht Frankfurt man was also named on the bench in Real Madrid's opening day La Liga win over Celta Vigo.
Paris Saint-Germain are keen to keep hold of the Brazilian, and have even reportedly rejected a loan offer for him from Barcelona.

PSG offer to Zaha

PSG plans £100million move for Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha

With Neymar bent on leaving, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is considering bringing Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha in a £100million deal, as a viable replacement.
PSG’s delegation will be in London this week to discuss the deal with Crystal palace ahead of the closing of the European transfer window in September.
If PSG’s near £200m demands are met, Neymar will return to Spain and Zaha could be on his way to Paris.
The French club knows Neymar is irreplaceable, but they see 26-year-old Ivory Coast star as a player whose style and ability would excite the Parc des Princes crowd.
Palace made it clear to both Arsenal and Everton this summer that they valued Zaha at around £100m.
PSG are also keen on Juventus star Paulo Dybala if they lose Neymar, and should he move to France from Juventus then the Italians will try to sign Christian Eriksen from Tottenham as part of a transfer merry-go-round, according to UK Mirror .
Zaha only signed a five-year deal worth £130,000 a week at Selhurst Park last summer.

Two reasons why Mourinho wanted to sell at Man United

Two reasons why Mourinho wanted to sell Martial at Man Utd revealed

Jose Mourinho wanted to sell Anthony Martial while he was Manchester United boss because he felt the France forward was ‘mentally weak’, the UK Times reports.
United paid over £50million to bring Martial to Old Trafford from Monaco in 2015 and he finished his first Premier League campaign with 11 goals from 31 appearances.
He soon began to struggle and he endured a strained relationship with Mourinho.
The Portuguese coach believed Martial was ‘mentally weak’ and unable to overcome minor setbacks.
Mourinho also felt Martial ‘sulked’ too much during matches and asked the club to replace him with Ivan Perisic.
He, however, did not get his wish as he was sacked last December as United manager.
